About Hanna Lifshutz
Hannah Lifshutz is an Austin-based producer, creative director, and political operative with a focus on creative storytelling for Democratic causes and campaigns. She currently serves as the Creative Director of the Democratic Governors Association, where she manages a team of video, design, and social media professionals who together drive the DGA’s creative voice forward.
During the 2022 election cycle, she worked as the Creative Director for Collective Impact – a political non-profit that works with celebrities and influencers to amplify key calls to action on behalf of progressive causes, campaigns, and candidates. In her role, she oversaw the organization’s content development & campaign strategy, working with the broader team and organizational partners to develop scalable digital campaigns across social media.
Prior to joining the Collective Impact team, she was the Content Director at the Texas Democratic Party, where she led the content department through the creation of viral videos for TDP’s social channels, video production for the 2020 Texas Democratic Convention, and the development and execution of virtual events. Before making her way back to Texas, Hannah lived in New York City where she worked as an editorial producer at Paper Magazine and a news writer & editor at Complex Networks. Her greatest achievement is and will forever be that one time she made Jordan Peele laugh. When she’s not working, you can find her making pottery featuring crustaceans, forcibly cuddling her dog Benny, at a concert, or eating crawfish.
