About Garima Verma

Garima Verma is a strategist and storyteller that bridges the worlds of culture, politics, media and social change. With 10+ years of experience spanning entertainment, political campaigns, and impact organizations, she specializes in transforming visionary ideas into actionable strategies, impactful programming and compelling narratives on-and-offline. She strongly believes in the power of storytelling and culture as a catalyst for social change.

The current focus of her work is helping leaders, campaigns and organizations be more strategic online in order to effectively engage, persuade and mobilize audiences in the digital age and create the largest impact even with limited resources. For the past few years as an independent advisor, she has partnered with mission-driven leaders to build strategy and infrastructure, forge partnerships, shape communication and digital strategy, and design and facilitate programming. Her clients have included organizations like the DCCC, reDefinedAtlanta, GoFundMe and other change-makers.

Garima is a driving force behind digital campaigns across industries — from entertainment at Paramount Pictures to political campaigns like Stacey Abrams for Governor and nonprofits like Ocean Wise. As Chief Digital Officer for Stacey Abrams’ gubernatorial campaign, she built, scaled and led a digital operation, raising $38 million and executing a $12 million digital-first persuasion and mobilization program. She also established the digital program for First Lady Dr. Jill Biden’s FLOTUS office and served as a digital strategist on the Biden-Harris 2020 campaign. As a Strategy, Programming and Partnerships lead advisor with Align Social Impact, Garima helped build the Virgil Abloh Foundation from the ground up, harnessing the power of creativity to shift culture and support the next generation of creative changemakers.

Garima’s unique lens blends her background in entertainment — working on projects like Mission: Impossible – Fallout, black-ish, and The Oscars — with a deep commitment to impact. This intersection allows her to craft culturally resonant, strategic campaigns that inspire and mobilize change.
